It is hard to believe 40 years have passed since we graduated! There has been a lot of water over the dam since then. At the time of our last reunion, I was working for Andersen in Illinois and my husband, Ted, was working for Boeing in California. At the end of 2000 I traded my long-distance marriage for a long-distance work arrangement when I finally gave up my life-long Illinois residency and moved to the west coast. I left Andersen about a year later and began working for SM&A (a consulting firm based in Newport Beach) to jump start their training department. It has been a great ride. I was promoted to Vice President in 2004 and I continue to oversee the expansion of their training curriculum. Ted and I have four children between us. We managed to attain empty-nester status this year for about four months. The house would be pretty quiet if it weren't for our two Shih Tzu dogs. My daughter Jenny (29) is in Illinois. My daughter Keri (26) and Ted's children, Rebecca (27) and David (24), are here in California. We also have two grandchildren, Alexis (5) and Quentin (1), offspring of Jenny and Rebecca, respectively. If we had known how much fun grandchildren were, we would have had them first! I'm looking forward to renewing old acquaintances at our reunion in June 2008!
